Two Stone Blue Diamond Cuff

Two Stone Blue Diamond Cuff from the 1960’s. This breathtaking cuff is from the Private Personal Collection of the World Renown Santa Clara Potter, Joseph Lonewolf.  This piece is featured in the 1975 issue of “The Pottery Jewels of Joseph Lonewolf”. The cuff features two pieces of Blue Diamond turquoise set in sterling silver. The cuff measures 5″ inches wide with an inside circumference of 7″ inches with a 1 1/2″ inch opening.

Blue Diamond turquoise is a rare deep blue turquoise from the Blue Diamond mine in Nevada. Mined mostly in the 60s and 70s, Blue Diamond turquoise is rarely seen on the market today other than in vintage jewelry. The turquoise is dark blue with a black matrix of dendrites and triangle shaped black chert or a swirling dark blue with smoky black matrix. The blue a lot of times is a swirling of two dark blues. It is stunning.

Vintage Native American Jewelry

Vintage Native American jewelry typically features traditional styles, a dark silver patina and often, rare types of turquoise from mines which are now depleted. Our vintage jewelry usually ranges from the 1930s to 1970s and the artists are often unknown because prior to the 1960s, artists rarely signed their jewelry. Most of our vintage jewelry is acquired from private collections and we feel honored to pass on these treasured pieces to new owners. We recommend leaving the patina on old jewelry, as polishing can diminish the value. When you collect vintage jewelry, you own a small piece of history.
