18kt Yellow Gold and Sterling Silver Gold SFNM Coin Heart Pendant Necklace By Artist Douglas Magnus. This heart pendant features an 18kt yellow gold stamped ‘Amor’, Spanish translated ‘Love’ coin in the center with a reverse side of a oxidized sterling silver stamped ‘PLVS VLTRA’ in Latin translating ‘Farther beyond’ coin, and gold dots around the heart. This pendant measures 2 inches x 1 1/2 inch.

Douglas Magnus moved to Santa Fe in the late 1960s, following his childhood in Los Angeles, California, Silverton Colorado, and a formative two years with the U.S. Army in El Paso. Magnus lives and works in Santa Fe New Mexico and is a renowned Santa Fe Jeweler. He is also a prolific painter while embracing numerous subjects such as interiors and figurative works while partial to plain air paintings created on site at his mines. Magnus uses the finest silver, gold stocks, and methods ranging from the most ancient to the most contemporary to create his pieces. He is well known for his turquoise creations that are often featured from Doug’s own mine known as The Tiffany Cerrillos Mine. The mine is located 17 miles outside of Santa Fe.
