18kt Yellow Gold, Oxidized Sterling Silver, Vintage License Plate, and Sonoran Gold Turquoise Zia Pendant by Artist Kit Carson. This pendant features a Zia Symbol cut from a license plate, bezel set Sonoran Gold Turquoise cabochon gold dots beads on a Niobium chain. This pendant measures 1 3/4 inches x 1 3/4 inches and is 18 inches.

Kit Carson’s jewelry profession continued to grow, adding sculpture and painting along the way. His specialty is engraved jewelry with a rainbow of gemstones, including high grade turquoise. The beauty and humor of animals is a constant theme in his work. Kit’s design style has an Art Nouveau filter that smooths out his line.
His current line of jewelry is called Romantic Rust. This on-going series includes cuffs from license plates, chains, and bolo ties with hood ornaments.
