Historiador- Asturias Pequeños Segundos
The Historiador Asturias Pequeños Segundos shares some of the physical characteristics of its older sibling, but on this occasion it simply displays the hours, minutes and seconds. Ramón Fernández Cuervo migrated from his home in Pravia, a town in Asturias in northern Spain, and settled in Cuba. He established a jewelry store in Havana in 1862 and later he invited family members to join him. In 1882, Don Cuervo established a new company with his nephews (sobrinos), the aptly named firm ‘Cuervo y Sobrinos’. By releasing the Historiador Asturias Pequeños Segundos, Cuervo y Sobrinos honours Ramón Fernández Cuervo and his compatriots who courageously travelled to Cuba to begin a new life on the island.
