Sterling Silver Concho Belt
Sterling Silver Concho Belt handmade by Native American artist Lambert Eustace. The buckle features 3 stunning pieces of Mediterranean branch coral and 2 pieces of Kingman turquoise. The first belt slide is a beautiful sterling silver buffalo with a 14 karat yellow gold eye and horn, the second slide is of the healing hand with a gold spiral, the third slide is a rectangular slide with Kingman Turquoise and Mediterranean Coral. The fourth belt slide is of a sterling silver spiral with a gold center dot and a gold arrow point. The symbols mean different things for different cultures. The Zuni tribe use the spiral for wind, water and creatures related to water. The last slide is of a beautiful sterling silver bear with a gold heart line. The total length of the belt measures 45″ inches long.
Native American Artist: Lambert Eustace
Native American jewelry artist Lambert Eustace was born July 1960 in Albuquerque. His father is Zuni and his mother, Felcita Eustace, is Cochiti.
Eustace was influenced mostly by his parents, who were known for their carvings as well as for their jewelry-making. He admired their long hours of work and dedication to their craft, traits he has tried to emulate.
A deeply spiritual man, his inspiration comes from his religious beliefs and he uses many religious symbols in his designs.
Working with both silver and gold, Eustace is known for his handmade chains and bolo ties and belt buckles made of silver, coral and turquoise.
Each shape has special meaning to him, which Eustace believes brings good luck for the new owner.
