Bony Pony Pendant Necklace
18kt Yellow Gold, Turquoise, Bony Pony Pendant Necklace by Artist Kit Carson. This pendant features a sterling silver skeleton pony embellished with 18kt gold hair on the pony, an 18kt yellow gold bezel set Carico Lake Turquoise cabochon, a citrine gem near the head of the pony, with lobster claw clasp closure. This pendant necklace measures 16 inches with a Niobium chain with sterling silver cross bones.

Kit Carson’s jewelry profession continued to grow, adding sculpture and painting along the way. His specialty is engraved jewelry with a rainbow of gemstones, including high grade turquoise. The beauty and humor of animals is a constant theme in his work. Kit’s design style has an Art Nouveau filter that smooths out his line.
His current line of jewelry is called Romantic Rust. This on-going series includes cuffs from license plates, chains, and bolo ties with hood ornaments.
