Pixie Turquoise

Once located in Crescent Valley Nevada, the Pixie Mine lay idle for 20 years then buried by a large Gold Mining Company. Located near the Fox, Orvil Jack and Carico lake mines near Indian Creek, the Pixie Mine produced a striking green turquoise. The mine produced a very small quantity of high grade turquoise mostly green with some blues. Because of the limited quantity it is considered highly collectible.
