Left Handed

Cottonwood Root Left Handed by Hopi Carver Aaron Honyumptewa.

Carries a bow in his right hand rather than in his left hand. He generally does everything backwards. The reason is not clear. The Hopi say that they came to them from the Chemehuevi Indians. This carving is 16 x 8 inches.
